Dr. Mitchell Berger is a graduate of Cornell University and Jefferson Medical College. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at North Shore University Hospital, and his fellowship in medical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Dr. Berger is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Dr Berger is board certified in Medical Oncology and completed his fellowship training at the renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He has a chemotherapy suite in his office which affords patients a private and comfortable setting for their treatments.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of cancer care, including:

Dr. Berger's office is conveniently located at 1999 Marcus Avenue, Suite M14, New Hyde Park, NY, and is easily accessible for patients in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk counties, and other surrounding areas
The office is handicapped accessible and is situated along major bus routes and close to the LIRR
Dr. Berger offers evening and Saturday hours by appointment
Premium Healthcare
Dr. Berger is a board certified internist/medical oncologist and provides individualized medical care for his patients. He has admitting privileges at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, two of the top hospitals on Long Island. He personally rounds on all of his patients who are admitted into the hospital.

Dr. Berger can help to guide your decisions and encourage positive habits as well as provide referrals to specialists that meet your specific needs.
Emergency Services
When there is an emergency, Dr. Berger will give you the assistance you need. It is the policy of the office that any patient requiring urgent attention will be evaluated in the office on the same day they call. If needed after office hours, Dr. Berger, is available through his answering service and in some cases will perform house calls.
