Our mission is to help our patients grow old without feeling old and educating them to become active participants in their own well-being. We provide our patients with high quality medical care in a comfortable and compassionate environment. Dr. Berger is committed to maintaining his continuing education requirements in order to provide his patients with the most up-to-date treatments. At this time when many medical practices are being incorporated into larger health systems, he is dedicated to maintaining the highest ethics, integrity, and professional standards, while still providing a personal approach to the care of his patients. Dr. Berger treats the entire person, not just their symptoms. We will help you to make the best choice for optimal health solutions for yourself and your family, and work with you to find the best treatment.

About the Office of
Dr. Mitchell R. Berger

Dr. Mitchell Berger received his A.B. from Cornell University and graduated cum laude, and continued onto SUNY at Buffalo where he received his M.S., and performed laboratory research at the prestigious Roswell Cancer Institute. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.  Dr. Berger did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, N.Y., and then went on to complete a fellowship in Medical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is Board Certified in both internal medicine and medical oncology, and holds professional memberships in The American Medical Association, The Nassau County Medical Society, and The American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is an attending physician at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center (both divisions of Northwell Heath) and St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, N.Y. Dr. Berger opened his practice in 1992 and has been dedicated to providing the best in patient care ever since. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Hofstra Medical School, and was recently named as a NY TopDoc.
